Ergonomic and Industrial Hygiene
Vol. 1 No. 01 (2026)This journal issue focuses on current research, practical approaches, and innovative strategies in the fields of ergonomics and industrial hygiene. The issue highlights the importance of designing safe, healthy, and productive work environments through evidence-based risk assessment, hazard control, and preventive occupational health programs. Ergonomics plays a crucial role in optimizing the interaction between workers, tasks, tools, and work environments to prevent musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), fatigue, and work-related injuries. Meanwhile, industrial hygiene emphasizes the identification, evaluation, and control of physical, chemical, biological, and ergonomic hazards in the workplace to protect workers’ health and well-being. By integrating ergonomic principles and industrial hygiene practices, this issue aims to contribute to the development of sustainable occupational safety and health systems that enhance worker productivity, reduce occupational diseases, and promote long-term workplace well-being.
