The Journal of Teacher Well-Being (JTW) welcomes original research articles, reviews, and case studies related to teacher well-being, educational practices, and psychological, social, and institutional aspects that affect educators. Authors are required to adhere to the following guidelines when submitting their manuscripts.
1. Manuscript Submission
- All manuscripts must be submitted through the Journal of Teacher Well-Being online submission system [Insert submission link].
- Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx).
- The submission must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
2. Manuscript Preparation
Authors are required to follow the journal's format and structure guidelines as outlined below:
2.1 Article Structure
- Title Page: Include the article title (concise and informative), full names of all authors, their affiliations, and email addresses. The corresponding author should be clearly indicated.
- Abstract: Provide a structured abstract of 150-250 words, summarizing the research objective, methods, results, and conclusions. Avoid using citations or abbreviations.
- Keywords: Include 4-6 relevant keywords that reflect the main topics of the article.
- Main Text: Organize the manuscript into the following sections:
- Introduction: Present the background, rationale, and objectives of the research.
- Methodology: Clearly describe the methods, materials, and analysis used in the study.
- Results: Report findings in a clear and logical manner, supported by tables and figures if necessary.
- Discussion: Discuss the implications of the results, their significance, and limitations.
- Conclusion: Provide a brief summary of the key findings and suggest future research directions.
- Acknowledgments: If applicable, acknowledge any contributors, funding sources, or relevant institutions.
2.2 Formatting Guidelines
- Length: Manuscripts should be between 4,000 and 7,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
- Font: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font size, and double-spaced text.
- Margins: Set margins to 1 inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Referencing Style: Use APA (7th edition) citation style for references and in-text citations. Ensure that all cited works are listed in the reference section and vice versa.
- Tables and Figures: Each table or figure should have a descriptive title and be numbered consecutively. Place them in the appropriate sections of the manuscript, or at the end with placeholders in the text (e.g., "Insert Table 1 here").
3. Ethical Considerations
- Originality: Submitted manuscripts must be original work. Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable, and manuscripts will be screened using Turnitin. Articles with a similarity index above 20% will be rejected.
- Authorship: All contributors who have significantly participated in the research should be listed as authors. Any changes in authorship must be communicated to the editorial team.
- Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including financial or personal relationships, that may affect the interpretation of the research.
- Research Ethics: For studies involving human subjects, authors must confirm that ethical guidelines were followed, and institutional approval was obtained. Informed consent must also be stated when applicable.
