The Journal of Community Development Diversity (JCDD) operates as an open-access journal and is committed to making high-quality research freely accessible to readers worldwide. To cover the costs associated with publishing, JCDD charges a modest Article Processing Charge (APC) to accepted manuscripts.

1. Article Processing Charge (APC) Amount

  • The APC for all accepted articles is IDR 100,000. This fee helps cover the journal’s operational expenses, including the costs of peer review, editorial processing, production, and maintaining the open-access platform.

2. APC Payment Process

  • Upon acceptance of the manuscript, the corresponding author will receive an invoice for the APC. Payment must be completed before the article is officially published. Accepted payment methods are detailed in the invoice.

3. APC Waiver and Discounts

  • Waivers and Discounts: JCDD is committed to supporting authors who may not have the financial means to pay the APC. Authors from low-income or lower-middle-income countries or those facing financial hardship may apply for a partial or full waiver. Waiver applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis, and authors should contact the editorial office at the time of submission if they wish to apply.

4. No Submission or Review Fees

  • JCDD does not charge any fees for submitting or reviewing manuscripts. The APC is only applicable to manuscripts that are accepted for publication after peer review.

5. Refund Policy

  • As the APC covers the costs of publication, refunds are generally not available once payment has been made. However, in the rare event of a technical error or administrative oversight, authors may contact the editorial office to discuss refund options.

6. Funding and Institutional Support

  • Authors whose research is supported by grants or institutions are encouraged to seek support for the APC from these sources, where possible.

For further questions regarding the APC policy, please contact the JCDD editorial office.
