Correction and Retraction
The Journal of Marine Pharmacy and Biomedicine (JMPB) is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.
Corrections
Corrections may be issued when errors are identified that do not invalidate the findings of the article, including:
- Author information errors
- Minor factual inaccuracies
- Production errors
- Metadata inaccuracies
Retractions
Articles may be retracted if:
- Findings are unreliable due to misconduct or major errors.
- Evidence of plagiarism is discovered.
- Duplicate publication is confirmed.
- Ethical violations are identified.
Retraction notices will clearly state the reasons for retraction and remain permanently linked to the original article.
Expressions of Concern
The journal may publish an expression of concern while an investigation is ongoing when serious allegations have been raised but not yet resolved.
