About the Journal

Journal of Religion, Local Politics and Law published by  Universitas Negeri Surabaya, Indonesia cooperates (MoA) with Asosiasi Program Studi Sosiologi Indonesia (APSSI) under the management of the Department of Social Sciences.

This journal, published four times a year, in January, April, July, and October, covers broad topics that discuss the interrelationships of society, Religon and Local Politic from multiple perspectives; Sociology, Communication Studies, community technology, Social Network Analysis Political Science, International Relations, and other Social Sciences written in English. 

The journal explores the intersections of religion, politics, and governance at the local level worldwide, recognizing local politics as a vital arena of democratic negotiation, identity construction, and socio-religious mobilization. inside there are grassroots politics, subnational governance, local democracy, religious populism, decentralization. 

The articles published may take the form of theoretical analyses, literature reviews, and research results.
