PENGARUH EKSPEKTASI PRIBADI, SOSIAL DAN KARIER TERHADAP MEANING OF LIFE CALON KONSELOR

Abstract

Penelitian ini penting dilakukan agar mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konseling dapat memahami dan mengembangkan makna hidup mereka agar memiliki masa depan yang lebih terencana. Tujuan penelitin ini ialah untuk mengetahui apakah ekspektasi pribadi, ekspektasi sosial dan ekspektasi karier mempengaruhi Meaning of Life calon konselor. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif desain korelasional. Populasi mahasiswa Bimbingan dan Konselor (BK) angkatan 2020, 2021, 2022, dan 2023 Universitas Negeri Malang berjumlah 530 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling dengan jumlah 133 mahasiswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini yaitu skala ekspektasi pribadi berdasarkan pada teori hofer, skala ekspektasi sosial berdasarkan pada teori bogdan, skala ekspektasi karier berdasarkan pada teori kreitner dan skala Meaning of Life berdasarkan teori Victor E. Frankl. Keseluruhan skala telah melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara ekspektasi pribadi (X1), ekspektasi sosial (X2), dan ekspektasi karier (X3) secara bersamaan (simultan) terhadap Meaning of Life mahasiswa BK, hal ini dibuktikan dengan analisis R square 0,238 dan nilai sig 0,00 < 0,05 pada analisis regresi liner berganda.
