Peer Review Process
Washatiyah: Journal of Political Islam and Society applies a Double-Blind Peer Review process to ensure academic quality and objectivity.
- The editorial team conducts an initial screening to assess the manuscript's suitability with the journal's scope and submission requirements.
- Suitable manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise.
- Authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.
- Reviewers evaluate originality, significance, methodology, theoretical contribution, clarity, and relevance.
- Based on reviewer recommendations, the Editor may decide to:
- Accept Submission
- Accept with Minor Revisions
- Request Major Revisions
- Reject Submission
- The Editor-in-Chief makes the final publication decision.
