The journal accepts and publishes articles discussing, among other things:
1. Islam and political power: ideology, legitimacy, authority, and political practice;
2. Islamic movements, actors, and networks: political parties, mass organizations/communities, clerics/figures, NGOs, and transnational networks;
3. Public policy and governance: the role of Islamic norms in regulation, law, public services, and state strategy.;
4. State, democracy, and institutions: democratization, authoritarianism, institutional reform, and civil-military relations.;
5. Islamic law and state law: legal pluralism, codification, the judiciary, and their impact on society.;
6. Religion-society relations: identity, social stratification, solidarity, conflict, and coexistence.;
7. Islam, media, and political communication: propaganda, digital discourse, moral propaganda, and public opinion change.;
8. Value-based campaigns, elections, and political strategies: religious symbolism, mass mobilization, and campaign communication.;
